BOLIVIA: Programa de Mejora de la Producción y Comercialización del Banano y Plátano [ES]

The Program is an initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development and Lands (MDRyT) that aims to strengthen the productive potential of bananas and plantains by improving primary production, harvesting, and post-harvest systems, geared toward the domestic and export markets in eight producing municipalities in the departments of La Paz and Cochabamba. The program is being implemented by the National Fund for Comprehensive Development (FONADIN), the National Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Innovation (INIAF), and the National Agricultural and Forestry Health Service (SENASAG).
